Centre for Restoration
A Vision of Hope Centre For Restoration emerged in 2024 as a UK-registered Christian
Charity, driven by a deep-rooted compassion for those facing poverty and inequality. Our
mission is to extend God' love and compassion by providing tangible support such as
financial assistance, capacity-building, practical aid, and spiritual guidance to those in need
in the UK and Uganda. Our goal is to empower individuals and communities to overcome
challenges and live with dignity and hope.
Our Story
Founded by a passionate individual with deep ties to Uganda, Centre For Restoration was born from a desire to make a tangible difference. Witnessing the harsh realities of poverty and inequality many Ugandans face, we are committed to working alongside churches and local communities to create a brighter future.
The Reality of Poverty and Inequality in Uganda
Despite significant progress in recent years, poverty and inequality remain pressing issues in Uganda. Approximately 41% of the
population lives below the international poverty line of $1.90 per day. This translates to millions of people struggling to meet their basic needs, including food, shelter, and healthcare.
Our Impact
Centre For Restoration is actively working to address poverty and inequality in Eastern Uganda through a variety of initiatives, including:

Community Development Programmes:
Empowering local communities to improve their livelihoods through skills training, microfinance, and agricultural support.

Education Initiatives:
Providing scholarships and supporting educational programs to ensure children have access to quality education and break the cycle of poverty.

Healthcare Programmes:
Supporting healthcare initiatives and organising health campaigns to improve access to healthcare services, especially for vulnerable populations.
